LOCAL COMIC SHOP DAY RETAILERS TO GET ‘DUNGEON CRAWLER CARL’ VOL. 2 EARLY

Vault Comics will release a special edition of Vol. 2 of the Dungeon Crawler Carl graphic novel exclusively to retailers who are participating in Local Comic Shop Day. LCSD has been set for Saturday, September 26, 2026 (see “Local Comic Shop Day”), so the special edition will be 10 days early. The second volume continues the adaptation, which first appeared on the Webtoon platform, of the best-selling novel (see “Two Different ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ Graphic Novels on the Way”). The book is due out to regular channels on October 6, with an MSRP of $19.99.
The early release will be a special edition with a variant cover.
“One of the goals of this international event is to create memorable experiences that reward fans for visiting their neighborhood comic shop,” said Kate deNeveu, Co-Chair of Local Comic Shop Day, in a statement accompanying the announcement. “An early release likeDungeon Crawler CarlGraphic Novel Volume 2 gives readers a compelling reason to celebrate with their local retailer while recognizing the important role comic shops play in connecting creators and communities.”
The first volume of the Dungeon Crawler Carl graphic novel was released in May and has been a best-seller in both the book channel and the direct market (see “June 2026 Circana BookScan”).
