The third edition of Serra Comics & Co. turned Serra San Bruno’s historic centre into a widespread festival dedicated to comics, illustration, dubbing, cosplay, gaming and pop culture. X-Men: Elsewhen, the long-awaited continuation of comics creator John Byrne’s storied run on the title during the 1970s, has made an unexpected splash since its release in June. To date, Abrams says it has sold 25,000 copies, selling through its initial pre-order, and a second printing is already on the way for August.
