Sandbox VR will bring its self-proclaimed “best virtual reality experience on Earth” to The Falls.

Miami, October 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Sandbox VR, the world’s leading virtual reality experience venue, will open its second location in the Greater Miami area at The Falls on October 30. Spanning over 4,100 square feet at 8888 SW 136th Street, Unit 407A, the venue will be operated by Immersa Entertainment LLC along with franchisees Carolina Brost and William Santiago. Customers who book online before October 29 can enjoy a 25% discount on tickets at https://sandboxvr.com/miami/the-falls.

The Falls is a 55-acre open-air destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment in South Florida. Sandbox VR’s new venue features four private holodecks where teams of up to six people wear headsets, haptic vests, and motion trackers to enjoy a full-body immersive experience. This technology allows players to see and physically interact with each other, creating the sensation of being together in an action-packed environment. After each experience, guests receive a personalized highlight video to revisit and share their adventure.

As local business owners, we believe entertainment should be more than just an activity—it should be an opportunity to bring people together, create lasting memories, and strengthen community bonds. Opening our second entertainment venue as a Sandbox VR franchise marks an exciting new chapter in our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. Our top priority has always been to provide a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where families, friends, and colleagues can enjoy innovative, high-quality entertainment. We are proud to bring this world-class immersive experience to The Falls and look forward to continuing to serve the South Florida community that has supported us every step of the way,” said Carolina Brost and William Santiago, owners of Sandbox VR The Falls.

Sandbox VR operates both company-owned locations and a mature franchise model, having recently reached $300 million in cumulative sales since its launch in 2016, as its business expanded to 100 global locations across 13 countries on five continents. The company is redefining group entertainment through immersive experiences, turning any outing into lasting memories. Developed by a veteran team from EA, Sony, and Ubisoft, Sandbox VR delivers full-body immersive entertainment through exclusive content and original experiences, including the recently launched “Stranger Things: Catalyst,” developed in partnership with Netflix, and the all-new “Age of Dinosaurs” experience, created in collaboration with the Natural History Museum in London and leading dinosaur experts.

Sandbox VR says it has earned over 250,000 five-star reviews for delivering unparalleled entertainment experiences to global visitors. With locations across five continents and over 6 million tickets sold, Sandbox VR has become the global leader in location-based virtual reality. The company is backed by investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Alibaba Entrepreneur Fund, Gobi Partners, Craft, and Stanford University, with individual investors such as Kevin Durant, Justin Timberlake, and Katy Perry.
