Whitney Rose is officially turning the page.
Three months after the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star and her husband Justin Rose’s separation was confirmed, she has filed for divorce in Utah.
The reality star submitted a divorce filing in the Third District Court of Salt Lake City Oct. 6, according to records obtained by E! News, which included a proposed parenting plan, but the petition itself has otherwise been sealed.
E! News has reached out to reps for Whitney, as well as Justin, but has not yet heard back.
The step for the couple’s official dissolvement comes after they were reported to have separated in July. In August, the trailer for the seventh season of RHOSLC, which premiered last month, revealed just how strained the relationship between the Wild Rose Beauty founder and her husband had become.
“I don’t know if you and I can move forward in our marriage,” Whitney tells Justin in a clip from the Aug. 5 trailer, “or it’s over.”
But while Whitney and Justin—who share kids Bobbie, 16, and Brooks, 13—have officially put an end to their romantic chapter together, the ups-and-downs they had weathered together were chronicled throughout the first six seasons of RHOSLC.

Meanwhile, Whitney had shared insight into how the couple had molded each other through their 16 years together on their most recent anniversary.
“Today we celebrate 16 years of marriage,” the 40-year-old wrote in a November 2025 Instagram post. “I looked up the ‘symbol’ and ‘gift’ that you give someone who is celebrating 16 years and it told me that the symbol is wax. At first, I was like WTH, but I started reading more about it and it’s beautiful.”
Indeed, Whitney went on to detail how she felt wax perfectly represented how she and Justin had grown together.

“The wax represents the flexibility and the warmth that a couple needs to mold their lives together over time,” she explained. “This is beautiful and it definitely resonates with how much we have been through yet while always loving each other every step of the way. I love you J, thanks for molding this life with me.”
For his part, Justin also shared a glimpse into the former pair’s ebs and flows, noting in a 2022 Instagram post that the year had “thrown us some curveballs.” Nevertheless, the businessman wrote, “with @whitneywildrose by my side… it was another epic year!!”
