Game Title:Pareidolia Developer: Nexon Games Platform: PC, Android, iOS Info Teaser: Latest information to be unveiled at TGS 2026
Today (17th), Nexon Games launched the official YouTube channel for its upcoming title ‘Pareidolia’ and released an anime video.
Pareidolia, which previously lacked an official YouTube channel, launched its new channel alongside an animated video featuring the game’s characters. Produced by WIT STUDIO, the animation was directed and storyboarded by director Aimi Yamauchi, who also handled overall direction. The video presents charming, quiet slices of daily life featuring previously revealed characters in Animacity, the main setting of the game.
Currently in development by RX Studio under Nexon Games’ IO Division, ‘Pareidolia’ is a new subculture game set in the revival center of ‘Animacity,’ an alternate world resembling reality. In the game’s setting, players step into the role of director of the revival center and manager of ‘Tasogare-kan,’ a civil service dormitory, sharing daily life with ‘Mates’ who possess special abilities while resolving various urban issues.
Gameplay is designed around a cycle of setting out from ‘Tasogare-kan’ for exploration and combat before returning home, allowing players to build bonds with characters based on their choices. Combat features a ‘Live Turn Battle’ system, where players formulate strategies by tracking real-time action times and turn order.
Meanwhile, Pareidolia made its public debut to global gamers with its first playable demo at TGS 2026. Further details about the game can be found on Pareidolia’s special TGS website.
