The story that started with WandaVision is coming to an end. Paul Bettany is officially returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Vision in VisionQuest, an all-new Disney+ series that serves as the third and final chapter of a trilogy that also includes WandaVision and Agatha All Along.
When audiences last saw Vision, he had been rebooted and was trying to make sense of his memories and identity. VisionQuest picks up with the android in hiding, as he searches for a new purpose while evading those who want to weaponize him. His quiet existence doesn’t last long, however. A bounty placed on his head sends him on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious young man who may be the reincarnation of his son. And Vision won’t be the only familiar face returning: James Spader is reprising his role as Ultron for the first time since 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.

When does VisionQuestcome out?
VisionQuest premieres tonight, Wednesday, October 14, 2026, exclusively on Disney+.
How to stream VisionQuest
VisionQuest is a Disney+ original series, which means you’ll need a Disney+ subscription to watch it when it premieres on October 14. Subscribers can stream Disney+ from a smartphone, tablet, computer, or compatible smart TV with an internet connection.
A Disney+ subscription also gives viewers access to an extensive collection of Marvel movies and television shows, including the first two installments of the VisionQuest trilogy, WandaVision and Agatha All Along. So, if you want to revisit Vision’s story before the new series arrives, you can watch all three shows with the same subscription.
Disney+ also offers several bundle options for viewers who subscribe to other streaming services. You can bundle Disney+ with Hulu or choose packages that include HBO Max or ESPN Unlimited.
How much is Disney+?
Disney+ offers two standalone subscription options: Disney+ with ads and Disney+ Premium. Both plans give subscribers access to the Disney+ library, but Premium removes ads from most content and allows you to download shows and movies to watch offline.
Here are the available standalone plans with exact pricing:
- Disney+ (with ads): $11.99 per month
- Disney+ Premium (no ads): $18.99 per month
If you already subscribe to Hulu or want access to both streaming services, Disney+ also offers several bundle options. Currently, the Disney+ and Hulu Bundle is available at a promotional price of $11.99 per month for six months, then renews at $12.99 per month, while the Premium version costs $19.99 per month for six months, then renews at $21.99 per month.
Do you need to watch WandaVisionand Agatha All Along before VisionQuest?
While VisionQuest centers on Vision’s own story, Marvel has described the new series as the final installment in a trilogy that began with 2021’s WandaVision and continued with 2024’s Agatha All Along. So, viewers looking for the full story may want to watch both series before VisionQuest premieres.
Luckily, WandaVision and Agatha All Along are both available on Disney+, so you can catch up on the first two chapters with the same subscription you’ll need to stream VisionQuest.
