OCTOBER 13, 2026 – Hornets Sports and Entertainment and Visionary Square today announced a new three-year partnership that unites two Charlotte organizations committed to helping people achieve their goals through vision, teamwork and execution. Through the partnership, Visionary Square will serve as an official sponsor of the Hornets through the 2028-29 NBA season. The partnership brings together two brands that understand success is built through preparation, collaboration and a long-term commitment to growth. While the Hornets focus on building a winning culture on the court, Visionary Square helps independent financial advisors build, scale and sustain successful businesses across the country.
As part of the agreement, fans will experience Visionary Square throughout the season through in-arena branding, digital content and special gameday integrations. The partnership includes courtside LED signage, rotational arena branding and the new Hornets Assists of the Month Presented by Visionary Square social content series, which will spotlight the ball movement, teamwork and selfless play that drive success on the court.
“Charlotte is home, and we’re proud to partner with an organization that represents the energy, momentum and future of this community,” said Robert Russo, Founder and CEO of Visionary Square. “What drew us to the Hornets is their commitment to building something meaningful both on and off the court. In basketball and in business, success comes from having a clear vision, surrounding yourself with the right people and executing every day. That’s exactly what we help financial advisors do, and we’re excited to bring that story to Hornets fans throughout the Carolinas.”
Beyond gameday visibility, the partnership will create opportunities for advisors, clients and business leaders to connect through exclusive events hosted at Spectrum Center. The collaboration is designed to strengthen relationships, inspire innovation and showcase Charlotte as a city where business, sports and community come together.
“We’re excited to welcome Visionary Square to the Hornets family,” said Mike Behan, Chief Business and Revenue Officer for Hornets Sports & Entertainment. “As a Charlotte-based company that is helping entrepreneurs and business owners realize their vision, Visionary Square shares many of the values that define our organization. Together, we’ll create engaging experiences for fans, meaningful opportunities for clients and advisors, and new ways to celebrate the spirit of teamwork that drives success both on the court and in the business world.”
The partnership also reflects Visionary Square’s evolution from its roots as Independent Advisor Alliance into a modern platform designed to help advisors navigate growth, complexity and opportunity. Inspired by the historic role of the town square as a place where people gathered to exchange ideas and build community, Visionary Square serves as a strategic partner for independent advisors seeking to accelerate their businesses without sacrificing their independence.
“For us, this partnership isn’t just about visibility. It’s about celebrating a shared belief that great things happen when talented people come together around a common goal,” added Russo. “The Hornets bring people together every night at Spectrum Center. We do the same every day for financial advisors across the country. This partnership is an opportunity to showcase what’s possible when vision meets execution.”
The partnership officially begins with the start of the 2026-27 NBA season.
