A Disney+ vampire television show has just released its spooky season 2 trailer, just in time for Halloween. Today, the official trailer and poster for the upcoming second season of the music-driven, live-action adaptation Vampirina: Teenage Vampire were revealed.
As shared by Disney+, the show follows “the story of a tween vampire girl who leaves the safety of Transylvania to attend a performing arts boarding school. Living amongst humans for the first time, she pursues her passion for music while keeping her vampire identity a secret, something that’s made more challenging when her overprotective father charges an overzealous ghost to live with her at the school.”
The series ensemble includes Kenzi Richardson as the edgy yet adorable Vee; Jiwon Lee as Sophie, Vee’s kind and girly-girl roommate; Shaun Dixon as the intriguing and laid-back Elijah; Milo Maharlika as Demi, the 600-year-old ghost; and Faith Hedley as Britney, the super-talented legacy student.
They will be joined by Jodie Sweetin and Ava Jean as recurring guest stars for the sophomore season, with Hudson Stone set to guest star, alongside Kim Coles returning as Dean Merriweather.

In the season 2 trailer, a haunting voice warns that if Vee and her crush Elijah, from the vampire-hunting Van Helsing family, do not stay apart, “The world shall end on Halloween.” This high-stakes Halloween curse regarding their forbidden romance was shown alongside previews of new original music.
This season focuses on the aftermath of when Vee successfully performs for the entire school in front of her idol, Millie Eyelash. But what she didn’t realise is that she had inadvertently released a horde of monsters previously imprisoned in the mirror realm. Following this, Vee and her gang return to Wilson Hall with new musical dreams, while trying to make sense of the prophecy about Vee and Elijah.
Vampirina: Teenage Vampire drops on Disney Channel on October 6, and the full season will be available for streaming the next day on Disney+.
