- Bandai Namco Music Live MoooD Records’ five-piece rock band ASH DA HERO announced that their double A-side single “Beast Mode / Octave” will be released on May 29, 2024.
- “Beast Mode” and “Octave” were written specifically for Blue Lock -Episode Nagi-, and both songs were used in important scenes in the movie.
- “Beast Mode” revolves around the concept of “awakening.” This is an “egoistic” song full of respect and love for Blue Lock. It was uniquely composed by ASH DA HERO, who is also responsible for the theme song of the Blue Lock anime series. It’s an ode to the “awakening” of Team Z, led by Isagi, and we highly recommend watching this pivotal moment in theaters.
- On the other hand, “Octave” is a song written specifically for Nagi, the protagonist of the movie. The lyrics accurately capture his initial feelings when meeting Reo and Isagi during a period of boredom and apathy in daily life, as well as his gradual change of emotions as he fights for survival in Blue Lock. While the song may seem like a straight-up rock song when paired with scenes from the movie, it has emotional undertones that could make you tear up.
- Both songs will be available for early streaming on various distribution platforms starting April 19, coinciding with the theatrical release of Blue Lock -Episode Nagi-. We hope you’ll listen to their voices many times after watching the movie.
