Fortnite continues to go strong, and while attention is still cast towards the ongoing Fortnitemares event, eyes are starting to shift towards the end of Chapter 7 Season 4.
Epic Games‘ well-established seasonal transition gives Fortnite players plenty to sink their teeth into, and a new season is on the horizon, alongside an entirely new chapter that isn’t too far off.

When Does Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 End?
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 has a confirmed end date of November 1, which will bring an end to the season as a whole, alongside all the Fortnitemares content.
Since kicking off on August 20, Fortnite’s Override season has seen a host of updates with new content dropping into the game, including the action-packed Fortnitemares event.

All things come to a close, however, and the curtains will be drawn on Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 on November 1, though the exact timing is still to be revealed.
The season is expected to come to a close with a new live event, which will mark the start of the next season, which is set to be the last before the move into an entirely new Chapter.
When Does Fortnite Chapter 8 Begin?
Chapter 8 in Fortnite is slated to begin on December 1, with the new season after the conclusion of the current set to be a mini-season.
This month-long mini-season may not be called ‘Season 5,’ and could instead be titled around ‘mini-season,’ but while that remains up in the air, the length is known.

The mini-season kicking off on November 1 is set to last for exactly one month before Chapter 8 kicks off on December 1, marking the start of the next year of content in the Epic Games title.
Full details of the timing of the launch are to be confirmed, but expect it to come swiftly after a major end-of-Chapter event, tying everything we’ve seen in Chapter 7 together.
