On July 15th, ANYCOLOR Inc. announced its response to the infringement of rights against VTuber “Tomoe Shirayuki,” who belongs to Nijisanji. The company operates the virtual liver groups “Nijisanji” and “NIJISANJI EN.”

According to the company, multiple posts encouraging secondary harm to Tomoe Shirayuki were made on an anonymous online bulletin board. ANYCOLOR filed a request for disclosure of the sender information for these posts, and this request was granted by the court. Furthermore, based on the disclosed sender information, the posters were identified. As a result of filing a claim for damages against the identified individuals, a settlement was reached in which the individuals paid a total of 1.4 million yen in <a href="https://comicvibe.com/xbox-user-shares-unbelievable-feat-after-nabbing-400-in-compensation-taking-on-microsoft/” title=”Xbox user shares ‘unbelievable' feat after nabbing $400 in compensation taking on Microsoft”>compensation.

ANYCOLOR will continue to take legal action against any infringement of the rights of its affiliated live streamers or the company itself. These actions include defamation, insult, business obstruction, invasion of privacy, threats, and copyright infringement. The company states that it is taking action in multiple cases, including filing lawsuits to request disclosure of sender information. It also intends to continue taking swift action, including criminal proceedings.

The company has set up a reporting form on its official website. In addition to defamation against its affiliated streamers, they also accept reports of unauthorized re-uploading of cover songs, short videos, live event footage, and impersonation.

They also stated that they would not be able to answer any inquiries regarding this matter. They urged people to refrain from contacting them on social media or making comments during the live stream. They concluded their announcement by calling for continued support.
