Prabhas is currently busy with his upcoming period action drama Fauzi but now, the film’s release plans have reportedly been pushed ahead. The makers are yet to announce a fresh release date for the much-awaited project, which is helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi.

There is no official confirmation about the new release date but the team is working on a special sneak peek that is expected to take the audience into the world of Fauzi.

Fauzi Glimpse Expected To Release On October 23

The makers are reportedly eyeing October 23, Prabhas’ birthday, to unveil the special glimpse. But the team has not yet taken a final call. “We have a dedicated team working on the glimpse right now and it will be released when the entire Fauzi team is satisfied with the final output.” If approved, the glimpse could be the first major look at the film and its period setting.

Fauzi is said to be a period action drama with Prabhas playing the role of a soldier in the pre-Independence era. The film is a collaboration between Hanu Raghavapudi and the pan-India star, and is funded by Mythri Movie Makers.

The film has been attracting a lot of interest, especially because of its period setting and the pairing of Prabhas and Hanu Raghavapudi.

What about the Spirit?

Meanwhile, Prabhas has already begun shooting for Spirit , which is being helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film is said to be 40% shot.

Spirit was originally scheduled to hit theaters in March of 2027. However, the delay in Fauzi could have a knock-on effect on Prabhas’ schedule, with reports suggesting that Spirit may now shift to the second half of 2027.

Prabhas’ birthday on October 23 will also see the unveiling of a special birthday poster for Spirit. Both Fauzi and Spirit are big projects in Prabhas’ upcoming lineup and now audiences await official announcements on the release schedules and the first glimpse of Fauzi.
