Roll out the welcome back mat for the Milwaukee Brewers.
After playing 17 games in 17 days (10 of which were on the West Coast) the Brewers enjoyed a well-deserved day off Aug. 17 and now begin a six-game homestand at American Family Field, beginning with a three-game series against the Seattle Mariners.
Though the Brewers finished 3-4 in southern California last week, the tone of their road trip changed for the better significantly after taking three of four games from the Los Angeles Dodgers last weekend.
The Brewers now return to Milwaukee to face the struggling Mariners, who appeared in the American League Championship Series last year but are currently seven games under .500 (59-66).
However, the Mariners are just two games out of the final wild-card spot in the AL. The Mariners are 27-36 away from T-Mobile Park and are one of three AL teams averaging fewer than four runs a game in 2026.
Brewers starter Kyle Harrison looks to rebound from his rough start in San Diego when he faces the Mariners on Tuesday, Aug. 18. Harrison has been dominant at home, going 6-1 in 10 starts with a 1.38 ERA and 70 strikeouts.
In the second game of the series, Dustin May looks to turn in his third straight quality start since being traded from the St. Louis Cardinals. He’s 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA with the Brewers over 13 innings.
The first game of the series will be available over-the-air throughout Wisconsin, including WITI-TV (Channel 6) in the Milwaukee area. Here’s how to watch and listen to the series:
