Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 9/7/26 – Katrina King is a powerhouse creative technology executive, writer, and speaker helping shape the cultural conversation around gender, power, leadership, and industry innovation. As the founder of Ferally Feminist Media, she hosts The View From Her Side, an independent media platform examining modern power structures through the lens of her lived experience before and after transition.
Prior to stepping out on her own to champion independent media and advocacy, Katrina spent more than two decades helping shape the technological backbone of the <a href="https://comicvibe.com/why-investors-are-watching-star-entertainment-group-asxsgr/” title=”Why Investors Are Watching Star Entertainment Group (ASX:SGR)”>entertainment and tech industries. Most recently, she drove global content production strategy at Amazon Web Services, helping push the technical boundaries of film and television.
A prolific inventor with thirteen filed patents, Katrina’s technical expertise earned her recognition on the 2019 SciTech Academy Award shortlist and a 2022 Hollywood Professional Association Engineering Excellence Award. She has also appeared on prominent global stages, including the Cannes International Film Festival, NAB, IBC, SMPTE, CogX, and the Global Female Leaders Summit.
Having navigated the highest levels of entertainment and technology from the unique perspective of living and working as both a man and a woman, Katrina brings that experience to her commentary on gender, leadership, trans rights, workplace culture, and the dynamics of power.
She is currently writing her debut book, The View From Her Side: What Losing Male Privilege Revealed About Leadership, Power, and Vulnerability, while continuing to expand Ferally Feminist Media as a platform for intersectional advocacy, thoughtful conversation, and storytelling.
