Warhorse addressed its players and friends in a statement on X, confirming the attack directly. “We’re sorry to share that Warhorse Studios has been hit by a cyberattack,” the developer wrote, adding that cybersecurity specialists were helping secure its systems and determine the full extent of the incident. Warhorse Studios Is at Work On Two Major New Games

Warhorse announced two upcoming projects in May 2026, giving fans a glimpse of what lies beyond Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 . The first is another Kingdom Come adventure, although the studio has not officially called it Kingdom Come: Deliverance III
The second project takes the developer into J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth with an open-world RPG set in The Lord of the Rings universe. It marks a major departure from the historically-grounded medieval setting that made Warhorse famous, although its experience building expansive RPG worlds gives the team a stellar foundation for the new project. Both games are still awaiting further details, including any release windows.
The cyberattack comes at a sensitive time for a studio working on two substantial projects, but there is no confirmed evidence that either game was compromised or that it will have an effect on their respective development cycles. For now, the investigation will determine what the incident actually affected. Further updates from Warhorse should clarify the situation as more verified information becomes available.
