31 Fascinating Roblox Statistics in 2026

Roblox turned 20 years old this year, marking two official decades of gameplay and virtual chaos.

But from the thousands of experiences to the virtual concerts that pull in millions, there’s a lot more to Roblox than what meets the eye. Some players log in to take care of their pets or decorate their homes, while others are killing time stealing meme-inspired characters and breaking records.

To celebrate the existence of one of the biggest gaming platforms in the world, I dug deep and pulled together 31 fascinating Roblox statistics that show how much the platform has grown — plus maybe even a few facts that you might not have guessed about the game, its players, or the creators behind it.

Roblox users updated their avatars an average of 274 million times per day in 20251. That’s a lot of outfit changes!

As we’ll see in later statistics, users’ avatars are more than just a character, but also a way for them to try different things and show off their personality and interests.

Roblox recorded more than 50 million searches a day, giving players plenty of opportunities to hunt down their next favorite experience1.

Roblox-related videos have racked up more than 1 trillion views on YouTube1, basically turning the platform into a majorgames themselves

One in 5 game-related videos posted on TikTok globally mentioned the Roblox platform for two months in 20251 — which is a pretty impressive footprint for a single gaming brand.

Experimenting with a digital wardrobe has real-world influence: In a survey of Gen Z Roblox users, 87% said trying out their avatar’s style online first made them feel more comfortable expressing themselves offline1.

Seventy-three percent of Gen Z say they wanted more ways to express a full range of emotions through their avatars1.

Think things like facial expressions, gestures, and emotes that let players communicate with other players as opposed to typing out every thought or message. Who doesn’t love a well-timed eyeroll, anyway?

Seventy percent of Gen Z users said they’ve worn branded fashion on the platform1. Another 84% said their physical style was influenced by their digital self (which makes sense given #5).

Bruno Mars took the stage in Steal a Brainrot on January 17, 2026, attracting 12,862,161 concurrent viewers2. The collaboration also gave fans a chance to collect a limited-edition Brunito Marsito character, which was downloaded more than 5.4 million times.

For Roblox’s 20th anniversary, the platform launched The Hunt: Roblox 20, a limited-time event that took players on a trip through its history. More than 30 million players earned the main badge. Those who completed all 20 main quests could also unlock Year Infinity, which opens the door to 20 additional games4.

The Saweetie Super Bowl Concert earned a 95.86% rating5. That’s a strong rating, yes, but it’s also worth remembering that an experience’s rating isn’t the same as the general consensus. It’s still a good picture into how well the event did!

Brookhaven has racked up nearly 88.5 billion visits5. The game lets players build virtual lives, drive around town, decorate homes, and make up stories with their friends. It’s a simple game but it goes to show how much players prioritize gaming with their friends.

Steal a Brainrot BRAZILIAN SPYDER 73.93
Blox Fruits Gamer Robot Inc. 64.97
    Adopt Me! Uplift Games 45.11
Grow a Garden The Garden Game 35.97
    Murder Mystery 2 Nikilis 31.27

One third-party tracker estimates that the average Roblox play session lasts about 10.95 minutes5. It doesn’t sound like much, but imagine that multiplied across millions of daily active users. It also speaks to the kind of game Roblox is: One that’s easy to pop in and pop out of.

FIFA Super Soccer and Sonic Speed Simulator, (which, as you might guess, lets players race around worlds inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog) both cleared 1.5 billion visits in October 20265. The games came out in 2025 and 2022, respectively.

Steal a Brainrot reached a recorded peak of 25,836,222 concurrent players by the end of 20256.

This particular game revolves around collecting meme-inspired characters and trying to steal them from other players. It’s chaotic, and a whole lotta people want in.

Adopt Me! has accumulated nearly 45 billion visits6. The experience lets players adopt animals, collect items, decorate homes, and trade with other users. The experience launched in 2017.

According to their signup platform, 83% of Roblox’s daily active users sign up on mobile, with desktop and console making up much smaller shares (14% and 3%, respectively)7.

Roblox users spent an average of 2.7 hoursper daily active user on the platform each day in 20258. That’s a decent chunk of the day for younger players who are also balancing school, activities, meals, and homework.

The average Roblox user explored more than 24 experiencesper month last year8. Unlike a traditional game where players might spend months working through one world, Roblox makes it easy to switch between game types, whether that’s from horror to pet simulator or hanging out in a virtual neighborhood.

Roblox paid creators about $1.5 billion through its creator earnings and Developer Exchange (DevEx) programs in 2025, up 63% from $923 million the year before8.

Roblox Creator Payouts Nearly Doubled in One Year

Annual creator payouts rose from $923 million in 2024 to $1.5 billion in 2025.

Though it’s not confirmed directlyrelated, the company introduced its Creator Rewards program in July 2025 and increased the cash-out rate for Robux by 8.5% in September.

Roblox users logged a combined 29 billion hours on the platform in Q2 2026, up 5% year over year9. If you like math, then you’ll probably like to know that equates to about 3.3 million years of combined playtime.

Roblox’s 10 most popular games accounted for about 20% of all hours spent on the platform in Q2 2026, down from 30% three years earlier9. The company also reported that games outside the top 10 saw hours engaged grow 25% year over year, while Robux spending on those experiences increased by more than 20%.

More than half (57%) of Roblox’s global daily active users had completed an age check9.

The company has been expanding age-based safeguards to better tailor communication and gameplay between age groups. For example, a 40-year-old can access age-restricted games rated for adults, while a 10-year-old is limited to a more curated selection of games and has stricter chat settings.

Roblox also uses age checks to limit communication between adults and children who don’t know each other, while allowing connections between trusted friends and family.

Roblox may have a reputation as a kids’ platform, but that’s not its exclusive audience: 27% of users who had completed an age check were 18 or older9. Another 38% were ages 13 to 17, while 35% were younger than 13.

Roblox’s Age-Checked Users Skew Toward Teens

In the second quarter of 2026, Roblox users in the U.S. who were 18 or older generated more than 50% higher monetization than users under 189. This basically means that Roblox is making more money per adult user than per younger user. Perhaps that’s a good sign as the company looks to appeal to more adults.

Roblox averaged 123 million daily active users in the second quarter of 202610, but only about 1.6 million were daily unique paying users — that’s about 1.3% of its audience, and is up from 1.5 million daily paying users during the same period in 2025.

    Roblox’s Daily Paying Users

Roblox also reported average daily bookings of $10.42 per daily unique paying user, compared with just $0.14 per daily active user overall.

Last year, 23,500 creators participated in Roblox’s DevEx program and received payments11. This year, more than 42,000 creators are currently registered.

Roblox’s U.S. creator economy generated an estimated $752 million in GDP impact in 2025, which is a 69% increase from the year before11. Most (83%) of American creators surveyed say they work independently, and not as or with established studios.

How Much Roblox’s Estimated U.S. GDP Impact Grew (2024-2025)

Note: 2024 is estimated based on YoY growth

Nearly $444 million in Roblox creator payments went to areas where tech-worker concentration was below the national average (about 66% of creator payments covered)11. Nope, tech money isn’t just for Silicon Valley.

The median creator who participated in Roblox’s DevEx program received about $1,500 over 12 months11.

Roblox said its text filters process an average of 6.1 billion chat messages every day12. It also reported 1.1 million hours of voice communication daily across 28 languages.

Speaking of billions of chat messages every day, Roblox’s AI-powered text-filtering mod system sorts through750,000 requests per second12! Its personal information filter (PII) alone filters more than 370,000 messages per second at peak.

Every message is checked in a fraction of a second to scan for potentially sensitive information — I mean, it is primarily a kids’ platform that connects them to the internet. Roblox also reported that improvements to its PII system reduced false positives by 30%.
