The Hollow Day 3: Floor 3 Maze and Demonology Quest Guide – Core Roblox Guide

The Hollow Day 3 will see you solving a puzzle on Floor 3 of the movie theater maze, and completing the quest in Demonology, where you’ll need to collect six cursed items. Finishing both of these missions will earn you UGC rewards, namely: the Festering Felix and the Biter Fedora. In this guide, you’ll find a complete walkthrough for solving the riddle to find a code in the movie theatre maze, and where to find the cursed items in Demonology.

The Hollow Day 3 Maze Puzzle Solution

The third maze is available for you to explore in the hotel.

Similar to the other floors, you’ll be making your way through a floor, where the rooms and routes will be different for each player. Your goal is to reach the Relic room, where you’ll be solving a puzzle to receive the Relic, and then have to escape the floor with it before you get caught by the monster.

Like the floors before it, we were able to find the Relic room by sticking to the right side. We followed the path through our maze, hugging the right side and taking every turn we could. Eventually, we found the Relic room, which is a massive graveyard.

In the graveyard, you’ll find a riddle. The riddle says, “I count not who came first or last, but years between the front and grass. The freshest stone may hide the gray; the moss may veil the briefest day. From every dusk, upick its dawn. Three wicks burned short; their signs live on. Set them as children file to choir, small to tall, or join the mire.”

Essentially, the riddle is asking you to find the gravestones with people who lived the shortest lifespan. On each of the gravestones is a birthdate and a death date. You’ll want to compare those with all the gravestones in the room, and use the ones with the shortest lifespans on the coffin, which contains the Relic.

Every code will be different! You’ll need to use a different code than we found to open your coffin.

When you’ve correctly solved the riddle to find the proper tombstones, enter them on the coffin, and receive your Relic. The last thing you have to do is return to the elevator to escape! You’ll receive the Festering Felix badge as a reward.

How to Complete Demonology’s Hollow Event

For the third day, Demonology has an exclusive mode for The Hollow players. Instead of playing a match of Demonology, it’s a guided adventure through a place known as Somewhere Else. Players will need to follow the steps in the adventure and use their compass to escape, creating a powerful ritual to get back. The ritual requires players to hunt down six unique objects hidden throughout the village. However, there’s also a monster hunting after players, but quickly hiding in a wardrobe will protect them.

You’ll need to find the objects one at a time to complete this adventure. These objects appear as red dots on your compass, and you’ll be able to see how close you get to them. Once you have the item, bring it back to the altar. However, if a monster catches you while you have the item, you’ll drop it and need to pick it up again.

Here’s a breakdown of where to find each object during this guided adventure.

    All Demonology Cursed Item Locations
    Cursed Item Location Description Location
Devil Mirror You can find the Devil Mirror on the east road. When you first approach it, the object hops around until it arrives at the last pedestal and you can pick it up.
Altar Lantern You can find the Altar Lantern at the middle of the square. When you find it, light the three lamp posts at the location using the Spectral Fire, and you’ll summon the lantern.
Grimoire You can find the Grimoire on the west road. First, you need to read and follow the signs leading you to it before it spawns.
Stygian Hourglass You can find the Hourglass around the square. When you get there, you’ll need to stand within the highlighted ring before you can take it.
Cursed Lock You can find the Cursed Lock at the park gate. When you get there, you’ll need to locate a lockpick to open it up. We found ours inside of a mailbox, in front of the lock.
Skull of the Abseer You can find the Skull of the Abseer in the graveyard. Pick up the shovel next to the grave, dig it out, and pick up the skull from the highlighted location.

When you have all six objects and bring them to the altar, you can start the ritual. At the end, you’ll return to the Demonology lobby and be able to make your way back to The Hollow’s starting lobby, unlocking your new badge.
