The Hollow Day 2: Floor 2 Pumpkin Puzzle and Dandy’s World Guide – Core Roblox Guide

The Hollow Day 2 will see you solving a puzzle on Floor 2 of the movie theater maze, and completing the quest in Dandy’s World, where you’ll need to collect 200 pumpkins. Finishing both of these missions will earn you UGC rewards, namely: the Witches Brew-nado and the Reeling Petal Garland. In this guide, you’ll find a complete walkthrough for solving the riddle in the movie theatre maze, and strategies for earning 200 pumpkins quickly.

The Hollow Day 2 Maze Puzzle Solution

With the arrival of Day 2 in The Hollow, there’s a new floor for you to explore in the hotel, along with a new relic and a new daily reward for you to unlock. Similar to the start of Day 1, make your way over to the hotel and select the second floor.

Here, you’ll need to track down the puzzle room to locate the relic. The Puzzle Room’s exact location may vary for every player, as the maze’s layout changes each time. However, we have noticed that it tends to be on the right side of the map. From where you start at the entrance, try making your way to the far right side as quickly as possible.

You’ll know you’re in the correct location when you enter a place that closely resembles a playhouse.

From this location, head up the stairs from the room on the far right. Go into the back, and you’ll find a room full of multiple pillars, with a lever on one side.

Turn around, and you’ll find a riddle that reads, “Pumpkin moon and midnight hour, six stone pumpkins in witch’s power. Turn a stone, its neighbors turn; waste your turn and back they churn. Turn each pumpkin to face its mark, lest you rot here in the dark.”

The goal of this puzzle is to turn each of the pillars so that the pumpkin face sides are pointing inward toward each other. You can interact with any of the pillars to turn them. However, when you do, the ones next to that pillar also rotate. You’ll need to choose carefully regarding which pillars you turn. This can take some time as you’re gradually moving them into the correct spots.

Once all of the pillars are in the correct positions, they emit a glowing light from their base toward the center. You can then pull the lever to unlock this floor’s relic. With the relic in hand, it’s time to make your way back to the elevator and out of the hotel.

When you reach the top and exit the elevator, you’ll receive the Witch’s Brew-nado as a reward.

How to Complete Dandy’s World Hollow Event

The next game you can earn a daily badge in is Dandy’s World. You can access the portal at the center of The Hollow and visit this location.

Once inside, you’ll need to head to The Hollow section of Dandy’s World lobby, where you’ll be participating in matches alongside other players. For the event, you need to collect 200 pumpkins that are scattered around on the floor, but you also need to survive and make it to the end to earn the most.

There are monsters wandering around the entire floor that will hit you, gradually taking away your health hearts. If you lose all of your hearts, you’re out and have to join a new match.

How the game works in Dandy’s World is that you’ll be racing around the map looking for tube containers to interact with, also known as Machines. These Machines drop ichor when you use them, and you need to fill the tube to complete it. There will be a quick-time-event that appears while you’re interacting with the device, and you need to click while in the white or gold sections. If you miss, the monsters hear you and make their way over to your location.

You need to complete the set number of machines, which varies by size depending on the number of players in your game. When all of the machines are finished, you have to race to the elevator and leave before the timer runs out. There is a guided arrow below your character, showing you where to go.

Although you keep all of the pumpkins you collect regardless of whether you complete a match or not, finishing a match earns you 50. You should expect to play at least 3 to 4 games before you collect all 200 pumpkins.

After collecting all 200 pumpkins from the various matches you play in Dandy’s World, return to The Hollow. You’ll then need to make your way over to the Dandy’s World portal that you used to teleport, and claim the item. You’ll receive the badge and add it to your collection for participating in Roblox‘s The Hollow event.
