September 2026 is a busy month on Netflix, with the return of shows like The Gentlemen and a fresh crop of movies, documentaries, reality TV and dramas.
Guy Ritchie’s crime series is back for a second season, as the action moves from an English country estate to the lakeside villas of Italy. It’s not the only Netflix favorite resurfacing: Ryan Murphy’s true-crime series Monster and the Stranger ThingsspinoffTales From ’85 are also back next month.
Viewers can also tune into a sports documentary, YA drama and reality TV, plus a murder mystery built for a weekend binge.

‘Turning Point: Generation 9/11’
Twenty-five years after the 9/11 attacks, the latest Turning Point documentary examines how that day and its aftermath shaped a generation. It’s built around firsthand accounts from people still living with the consequences, including children orphaned by the attacks, journalists, young Afghans and U.S. Marines.
‘The Gentlemen’ Season 2
Guy Ritchie’s crime series began with Eddie Horniman (Theo James) inheriting his family’s English country estate and discovering a lucrative marijuana operation hidden beneath it. Season 2 finds Eddie trying to expand the criminal empire he stumbled onto.
‘Earle Meets World’
Alix Earle built an audience of more than 8 million on TikTok with candid get-ready-with-me videos. Now Netflix is following her and her sister and fellow creator Ashtin Earle, as well as their blended family and friends in a new reality series. According to the streamer, “nothing is off limits.”
‘Call My Agent! The Movie’
Call My Agent!was a hit French comedy about the agents managing the egos of movie stars. The film catches up with them five years after the agency folded. Andréa (Camille Cottin), one of its agents, is directing her first feature when her lead actor walks out, and the production starts to fall apart. Her old colleagues show up on set, and they haven’t forgotten their grudges.
‘Crew Girl’
Rowing and romance collide in this coming-of-age series. Miku Martineau, who previously starred in Netflix’s Bet, plays Teagan Tao, a gifted 16-year-old whose promising future is derailed by a family scandal.
‘Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story’
Ryan Murphy’s anthology series Monster turns to one of America’s most enduring unsolved killings. Ella Beatty plays Lizzie Borden, who was accused and acquitted of killing her father and stepmother in Fall River, Mass., in 1892. Rebecca Hall, Vicky Krieps, Charlie Hunnam and Sarah Paulson also star.
‘Stranger Things: Tales From ’85’ Season 2
Stranger Things may have ended its live-action run, but the show’s universe is expanding. Tales From ’85 is the animated spinoff set in the same small Indiana town. Season 2 picks up right after the first, with ghostly apparitions swarming Hawkins — traced to something stirring in the town’s abandoned silver mines.
‘Wonka’s The Golden Ticket’

What if someone actually invited you inside Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory? Netflix has turned Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory into a reality competition, with 12 golden ticket winners competing inside a full-scale replica of the factory. Wonka is voiced by an AI recreation of Gene Wilder, the original movie’s star, with the blessing of his estate.
‘The Final Problem’
If you’re in the mood for a whodunit, this is the one. A storm strands 13 people at a hotel on a small island. Later, one of them is found dead. José Coronado plays Basil, a retired actor who once portrayed Sherlock Holmes and is now the closest thing to a detective among them.
‘Unabomber’
For 17 years, Ted Kaczynski mailed homemade bombs from a cabin in Montana, eventually killing three people and injuring 23 before one of the longest manhunts in FBI history caught up with him. Room star Jacob Tremblay plays him as a teenage Harvard student pulled into controversial psychological experiments run by Henry Murray (Russell Crowe).
