In case you missed it, Sony has already revealed the first PS Plus Extra and Premium September 2026 game, and it’s a big one. Popular Jagex IP RuneScape is making its console debut, with RuneScape: Dragonwilds launching straight into the catalog day one.
When will PS Plus September 2026 game RuneScape: Dragonwilds join the catalog?
As confirmed back in June, PS5 open-world game RuneScape: Dragonwilds will release on the PS Store and PS Plus Extra/Premium catalog on Tuesday, September 15. That’s when the first batch of September games will become available in all regions.
As a reminder, Sony is running a staggered PS Plus catalog release schedule in the US, UK, and Japan. This means these three countries get PS Plus drops on different dates from the rest of the world. However, since RuneScape is a day-one game, we expect it to become available to subscribers around the globe on the same date.
“On RuneScape’s forgotten continent of Ashenfall, dragons have awoken,” an official overview reads. “Gather, build, skill and craft in this co-operative survival adventure. Only by mastering survival and uncovering ancient secrets can you hope to face the ferocious Dragon Queen.”
The full PS Plus Extra and Premium September 2026 lineup and release schedule will be announced by Wednesday, September 9.
