Roblox is bringing 10 new games from independent and incubator-backed studios to the platform this fall, spanning first-person shooters, racing, horror, role-playing, and sports titles, the company announced in a post from Chief Creator Ecosystem Officer Vlad Loktev. The lineup rolls out across September and October and draws on several creative teams, including some from programs such as Jumpstart and Incubator.

India-based SuperGaming is launching the Showdown Cup, its first in-game tournament for the shooter “Showdown,” alongside a new Esports Arena built into the game’s hub where players can watch matches live. “Our ambition is to help create the first generation of first-person shooter esports stars to come out of Roblox,” said SuperGaming co-founder Roby John. The studio is also bringing a second, Roblox-exclusive title, the hero shooter “Prime Heroes,” to early access in September with six playable heroes and 16 more in development.

Other studios are pitching production values closer to traditional console games. Ignition Switch’s open-world racer “Octane” leans on physics-driven drifting and car customization, while Nibblebyte’s dinosaur survival game “Fossil Force” uses directional audio and biome-specific lighting to build atmosphere. Ubermonster Productions, making its first game on Roblox with the cooperative horror title “Monster in the Mansion,” said the platform let it iterate faster than expected. “I didn’t realize the tools got more robust and took things to a more realistic finish,” said CEO Anthony Francisco.

The remaining titles round out the range: Red Wolves Studios’ multiplayer soccer game “GOAT Football League,” RoyalFire Legends’ movement-focused shooter “Nemesis,” Elbside Studios’ pixel-art farming game “Caramel,” Studio Making Fun’s action role-playing title “Starforged,” and “Scrapbook Saga,” a paper-craft role-playing game from creators FadedBFox and Xeycrow.

The preview lands against a platform that has been quantifying and publicizing what its creator base contributes financially. An economic impact study Roblox commissioned from Nordicity, published this month, found U.S. creator activity generated $752 million in GDP in 2025, up 69% year over year, while creators globally earned more than $1.5 billion in 2025, up from $923 million in 2024. The fall lineup’s reliance on outside studios, several of them first-time or early Roblox developers, reflects the platform’s continued push to route new content through third-party teams rather than in-house production, a model the Nordicity study frames as increasingly significant beyond traditional tech hubs.
