The company says that by adding Hindi, it has made it easier for “millions of Hindi-speaking users to access, create, and engage on the platform in their preferred language.” To switch to Hindi, players need to head to the Roblox app, and then make their way towards Settings, followed by Account Info, and then Language, where they can find Hindi listed.

“The update also introduces automatic Hindi translation capabilities, enabling creators to make their games and avatar creations accessible to Hindi-speaking audiences with minimal effort,” the company shared.

Managing director of Roblox India, Sunil Rao, shared, “Roblox thrives on connection, and language shouldn’t be a barrier to creativity.” Rao says the addition of Hindi on Roblox will let a “vast, passionate” audience of Indian gamers collaborate and “express themselves authentically.”
“As one of our very first initiatives toward deep localisation in the region, this integration marks the beginning of our dedicated strategy to truly unite and elevate India’s diverse gaming ecosystem,” Rao said.
Meanwhile, Roblox recently announced an AI creation tool called Build, which lets players turn a text prompt into a basic game within the Roblox app.
