One of my favorite actors in the entire world, Rob Riggle, joining us.

Let’s start there.

All right, how confident are you, Rob, in Mahomes coming back week one and leading the Chiefs to glory?

I mean, as confident as anybody could possibly be.

Uh- yeah, I’m, I’m, I’m all Chiefs, all the time, every day, 24/7, 365.

I believe in Patrick.

I believe in his toughness.

I believe in his leadership.

He’s doing his recovery just right.

He’s coming along beautifully.

It’s, it’s all a timing thing, like everybody’s working in beautiful synchronicity.

The draft was incredible.

I anticipate nothing but more glory for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Well, there are, are some pundits- some analysts who do not agree with that, and I feel like you’ve played plenty of characters that would- Boo bully those nerds.

You would say, “Not up in here.

Not you”- Yeah Fat Jesus.

So what do you have to say to those people who are not expecting a Chiefs comeback, but rather a Chiefs regression?

Oh, gosh.

Oh, gosh.

Well, look, haters are gonna hate.

Nothing you can do about that.

You know, when you’re- when you’re on top, people try to knock you off.

Uh- Yeah people like to throw rocks at things that shine.

Little Taylor Qu- little Taylor quote there for you.

Anyway- Ah I don’t care about the haters.

I really don’t.

Listen, I’ve been with the Chiefs since I was born.

I think I went to my first Chiefs game in 1975.

I, we’ve been out in the desert for a long, long time, and now it’s our time, and I, and I’m enjoying every minute of it, and I hope it lasts for as long as possible.

And for those who aren’t experiencing it, sorry, maybe your time will come later.

But right now, it’s the Chiefs time, and in a nice way, I guess the best way I can say is suck it.

Suck it until it’s, till it’s your time.

Now it’s our time.

You know what?

If I were a Chiefs fan and not a Raiders fan, I’d be saying suck it too.

Unfortunately- I’m a Raiders fan.

I don’t get to say that.

Most of the time I just get to watch my team suck.

Nicolas Cage played John Madden, speaking of my beloved Raiders, in, in a movie.

So it has me thinking, like, Rob Riggle gets to call to play Andy Reid.

I realize you’d have to have some makeup put on.

Mm-hmm.

But we taking that call?

Like, would we, would we be in on the Andy Reid biopic film?

Yes, in a heartbeat.

I just, I just hope I could do it justice, but it would take everything I got.

I did have a pretty good mustache going, just recently- Ooh that kind of it was in, in the vibe of, of Andy’s mustache.

So I know I’ve got the capability of the facial hair.

The rest would take a lot of prep though, a lot of prep to get there.

I, I am all in on every ounce of this.

What’s the Vegas fantasy draft sweepstakes entail?

Oh my gosh.

Well, it’s gonna be a, it’s gonna be a very good time.

We’re doing it, at the end of August there, out in Vegas.

It’ll be a blast.

I, I myself play in multiple fantasy football leagues.

I have since I was in college.

And that’s back in the old days when we did everything by paper.

So, it’s gonna be fun.

I, I, I’m in a, a, a fantasy league right now called the Hollywood Phonies.

It’s full of celebrities that I’ll, I’ll leave their name out of it.

But they’re a bunch of idiots, and I still can’t win in that league, so I must be the biggest idiot of all.

But there’s other, there’s other ones though that, I always feel like I, I have two or three teams going, and I always feel like my teams, after the draft, I always feel great about my teams.

I’m always like, “I think I got I think this is the year.

I think I’m gonna win this sucker.”

And I’m always middle of the pack.

I’m always down at the bottom.

I don’t know how it happens.

And it, it’s just the most infuriating thing because I’ll, you know, I’ll score 150 points in a week, and I’ll would have beat 8 out of the 10 guys in my league, but the one guy that I played scored, you know, 160 or had the career day.

And so I, I, it’s, I love it and it’s infuriating at the same time.

But fantasy football is a blast.

BetMGM, we’re gonna be out at the, Aria, putting things together.

Big, big party.

Big social, event.

And it’ll be a lot of fun.
