RPCS3 is a multi-platform open-ve improvements – check out their new showcase
The new video goes over some of the most notable improvements to it across the summer featuring games like Twisted Metal, LittleBigPlanet, inFamous and God of War 3/Ascension.
Twisted Metal for example has the lighting fixed to make it look correct, making the visuals now on-par with the original on PlayStation 3. Performance still isn’t where it needs to be though, not quite playable yet it appears. God of War 3 had a fix for the sky colours, LittleBigPlanet had lighting and ambient occlusion fixed, Puppeteer had broken lighing and rendering fixed to make it properly playable and lots more game fixes.
RPCN, the internet play service, also expanded to include the likes of: player count for games, leaderboards and trophies. RPCS3’s UI also went through some upgrades to allow you to make game collections.
And – ARM64 support was also improved so performance reached playable levels across many devices.
