Parineeti Chopra calls out bias against OTT and TV actors: ‘It’s a waste of time’

Fronting a web series was on Parineeti Chopra’s mind for a long time. The actor, who recently made her series debut with Shaque: Trust No One, revealed that she deliberated on many subjects before saying yes to creator Siddharth P Malhotra’s thriller.
“I had done a couple of [OTT] films like The Girl on the Train [2021] and Amar Singh Chamkila [2024], and was looking for a series. I had gone through a lot of different [stories] with Netflix, but none of them sounded right to me. Sid felt that I’d be interested in this,” recalled the actor, who plays a mother looking for her missing baby in the series.
