Gonna go to Comic-Con, gotta get some comics
With Comic-Con International: San Diego now officially a week away, the new comics debuting there are beginning to come into focus. SDCC is one of those shows where there are several things you can only get if you go (or want to pay through the nose on the secondary market), so when I got word about the new comics with variant covers only available if you go to the show and the Oni Press booth (#1829), I had to spread the word
We already reported earlier this month about an exclusive Tradd Moore poster the Oni Press booth will have for his new project Touch Me Someplace Nowhere, but we now have details on five additional variant cover comics scheduled to be there in limited supply. They are:
- Adventure Time Pride Special: PB & Marcy’s Infinity Mixtape #1 with an Evgenia Vereli variant cover, 250 copy print run
- Adventure Time: Quadruple Feature #1 with a Steve Ralston variant cover, 250 copy print run
- Archie In Hell #1 with a Tyler Crook variant cover, 500 copy print run
- Mind Mgmt: New & Improved #1 with a Scott Sugiuchi variant cover, 111 copy print run
- Super Mondo Mega Mutts #1 with a Juan Gedeon variant cover. 250 copy print run

Oni will also have an SDCC exclusive ashcan previewing The Forever Home & Fort Psycho, as well as a version of Fort Psycho where it’s a comic in a can (no, really), of which only 250 were made
All of this and more will be available at the Oni Press booth #1829 on the show floor, right when SDCC opens on Wednesday, July 22. I would estimate these will go pretty quickly; if you look closely, you might see me in line waiting patiently for one specific one I’ve got my eye on.
