New ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Poster From Comic-Con Málaga Includes Latverian Witches
    • Marvel Studios teases new characters in upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday, including mysterious Latverian witches.
    • Fans speculate on identities of witches, with theories ranging from Wanda Maximoff to unknown characters.
    • Avengers: Doomsday set to release on December 18, 2026, as part of MCU’s Multiverse Saga.

Promotion for Avengers: Doomsday<a href="https://www.mensjournal.com/entertainment/avengers-doomsday-cast-wants-you-to-shut-your-phone-off-in-new-theater-ad” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>continues to build up hype for Marvel Studios’ next major event in the MCU. Fans are eager to see the iconic Doctor Doom take center stage against the latest lineup of heroes. But a new poster from Comic-Con Málaga <a href="https://comicvibe.com/21-movies-and-tv-shows-that-left-fans-with-unanswered-questions/” title=”21 Movies and TV Shows That Left Fans With Unanswered Questions”>shows that Doom won’t be up to nefarious plans alone.

In a new post on theirofficial X account, Marvel Studios shared a new poster for Avengers: Doomsday while Comic-Con Málaga was happening. The poster features Doctor Doom himself in what appears to be his castle in Latveria. But behind him near a stained window are three characters that were revealed to be Latverian witches.

The witches in the poster wear green, red, and purple robes. However, their faces and true identities are hidden. Marvel has yet to give any additional details about them, nor their relevance to the plot of Avengers: Doomsday. The costumes for the Latverian witches appeared at Marvel’s booth during San Diego Comic Con in July 2026.

Various theories about the identities about each of the witches have been debated among Marvel fans online. Some have speculated that one of them could be Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff returning to the MCU, while the other two remain a curious mystery to fans.

For now, Marvel is staying quiet about the specifics of their involvement in the plot. Avengers: Doomsday has a few trailers that spotlight Doctor Doom and his clash with different members of The Avengers. The story of the film is a culmination of the Multiverse Saga of the MCU, which brings together the Fox X-Men characters together with the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, and other Marvel heroes.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to release in theaters on December 18, 2026. The movie has Robert Downey Jr. returning to the MCU in the role of Doctor Doom, with Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth reprising their roles as Steve Rogers and Thor. The film is a predecessor to the highly anticipated Avengers: Secret Wars, which is believed to bring major changes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward.
