The news comes a little more than a year after Brown, 22, announced in August 2025 that she and Bongiovi, 24, had adopted a daughter.
“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” the <a href="https://comicvibe.com/stranger-things-fame-millie-bobby-brown-welcomes-second-baby-via-adoption/” title=”Stranger Things fame Millie Bobby Brown welcomes second baby via adoption”>Stranger Things star wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “And then there were 3.”

As Brown has settled into motherhood, she’s offered more details about the adoption process. During a July appearance on Jay Shetty’s On Purposepodcast, Brown detailed the moment she got a “magical phone call” approving her and Bongiovi’s adoption.
“It was the most surreal feeling and yet we both knew in that moment … like, ‘Oh my goodness, this is our girl, 100 percent, no doubt,'” the Netflix star recalled. “The process is long and rightfully so; it’s a great process and, you know, in fact, it’s very thorough. I would say that’s probably the longest part, is just getting through all of that.”
The most important part for Brown? That the phone call wasn’t recorded.
“I think there’s something so special about it because my whole life’s recorded. My husband and I will never forget those words, where we were, what we were doing, the feeling,” she explained. “I think in so many ways, that is why that shouldn’t be recorded. It’s, like, almost like you had to be there.”
And while she has now adopted two children, Brown has spoken about the possibility of carrying her and Bongiovi’s child — something the Enola Holmes star hopes to do “one day” in the future.
“It’s not because I don’t want that,” Brown said on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Liepodcast in June, explaining that she’s just “always wanted to adopt,” even as a child.

“Every time I was at home and I was, you know, 5, 6 years old, my parents were like, ‘You had your baby dolls.’ They were all adopted,” the actress explained. “I never had any of them myself. And I never pretended I was pregnant.”
Brown added, “Adoption is love, adoption is forever.”
