Man’s Girlfriend Got Upset When He Played Video Games Late at Night—Then They Argued Until 4:00 in the Morning
Have you ever heard someone tell you a story about their relationship and all you could think in the back of your head was, “Wow, these two probably shouldn’t be together”?
Well, if not, then the story you’re about to read might be a first for you!
Because I’m gonna go on the record right now and say that the two main characters here are not compatible with each other.

AITA for playing video games late at night on a weekday?
“I’m (31M) and have a partner (26F).
Just like the title says, last night we had a little argument then hugged and talked about it in bed around 10 pm.
I woke up like at 1 am to go to the bathroom but I didn’t want to go back to bed, so I went to a different room where I have my PC and played for maybe like an hour then watched a 20 minute episode of an anime show and went back to sleep.
This was about to get interesting…
When I went back she woke up , looked at the time and started scolding me about “why the hell did I go at 1 am to play video games?”
He starting calling me immature and irresponsible and that why do I continue to be acting like a teenager. “What is wrong with you.”
– why are you so mad about it? I am not irresponsible I am going to wake up early tomorrow to go to work its not like if this os affecting you, please just let’s go to sleep.
She continued nagging at me even though I was just telling her constantly to go to sleep.
She sounds delightful!
“Just like you said I have to get up early now its late lets just continue this tomorrow” but no she just can’t let a thing like this go she gets incredibly frustrated at me because I don’t care , because I do whatever I want and somehow she is the bad one , I told her that she should stop acting like a mother and more like a partner , that if my decision to stay up like would actually affect her I wouldn’t do it.
But she is currently unemployed and I am the one paying the bills.
Anyway, the turn the light of her phone at my face and continued to poke me in the back because “WE NEED TO TALK TO THIS, DON’T IGNORE ME! I AM TALKING TO YOU!”
We ended up talking like 4 am until I told her that I was sorry and I wouldn’t do it again… since lately that is the only thing that ends the fights…
Am I actually in the wrong here?
To give you a bit of context we’ve been dating for a year and 2 months.
4 months into the relationship her landlord kicked her out and I told her that she could go live with me and my father for the time being while she founded another place to stay.
In the end that didn’t happened and she stayed in my house we ended up splitting bills (I am grateful for that) but these past 2 months I am the one paying for everything because she sued the company she worked in.
She really has a heavy character …
