Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has now launched, and we have a list of new voice actors introduced for this version of the game.
For the most part, things are the same as they were originally. However, some roles have swapped and we also get Momo here as a brand new Blade – and now we know who plays her.
- Zeke: Feliks Mathur (was Daniel Barker)
- Dromarch: Sam Douglas (was William Roberts)
- Battle Narrator: Rich Keeble (was Stanley Townsend)
- Momo: Sarah Pitard (was Sherry Lyn and Cristina Pucelli)
The change for Dromarch makes sense. Sadly, Roberts passed away last year. Zeke having a new voice actor is surprising though – it’s not clear why the role changed, but it could come down to something as simple as a scheduling conflict.
With Momo, it’s the first time Pitard is voicing the character. Lyn previously had the role in Xenosaga Episode 1 while it was Cristina Pucelli in Episodes 2 and 3 (plus Brittney Karbowski in Xenosaga: The Animation).
Note that nothing should be changed for the original experience. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has new voice lines, which is what these actors were involved with – particularly for Momo’s quest. The original cast can be heard as they were in the Nintendo Switch release.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is available on Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide now. We just found out yesterday that this version of the game fixes one of the biggest issues players had with the original Nintendo Switch release – we have more on that here.
