The artist behind the look of LEGO DC 67012 The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover will be at New York Comic Con 2026, along with a nine-foot-tall version of the set.
LEGO DC officially revealed the first new builds on the way from the theme in early 2027 this week, in the shape of two additional Batmobiles and the striking (and slightly-terrifying)67012 The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover. Now those in attendance at New York Comic Con this week will be able to meet the artist whose work inspired the look of the latter model, along with a nine-foot-tall brick-built version of the set.
Jock (aka British artist Mark Simpson) has confirmed he will be in attendance at the pop culture event, which kicks off on October 8, signing reprints of Detective Comics issue # 880 featuring a special LEGO cover at the DC Booth from 11am to 12pm on the day, free to those who pre-order the set on-site at the con.
“Thank you to the LEGO designers for being so faithful to the original drawing,” said Jock on his Instagram page. “Their inventiveness and the creativity of the build to evoke the original art is amazing to see.”
In addition to the signing session, anine-foot-tall brick replica of67012 The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover will also be on display at New York Comic Con 2026, allowing visitors to the show to get up-close-and-personal with a giant-sized LEGO version of the nightmarish Clown Prince of Crime.
67012 The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover will be released on January 1, 2027, priced at £149.99 / $169.99 / €169.99, alongside 67008 Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck and 67009 Arkham Batman Batmobile, with all three LEGO DC sets available to pre-order now.
