Texas (KTSM) — The first-ever El Paso Summer Coin Show will feature dealers from across the region and will offer a variety of rare coins, currency, bullion and collectibles, organizers said
The El Paso Summer Coin Show will be held Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 1-2 at the Airport Marriott, 1600 Airway Blvd.
The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 1 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 2.
The show will feature dealers from Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and beyond, organizers said.
Admission is $5 for a one-day pass or $7 for a two-day pass. Children are admitted free with a paying adult.
The first 100 paying customers on Aug. 1 will receive a gift bag.
The show will feature a $1 raffle with the drawing taking place at 3 p.m. on Aug. 2. There will also be a silent auction, featuring more than 20 items, that will be open to bidders age 18 and older.
A representative from ANACS will be on-site throughout the show, accepting coins and paper currency for professional grading services.
“Whether you’re an experienced collector, a history buff, or just getting started in the hobby, you’ll discover treasures waiting to be found,” organizers said.
