Kingdom of Earth – Issue #2
The world as we know it is at an end, the age of myths and monsters has begun. Your nightmares are here to stay and enslaves the human population for work or food. The irony? They are having the same issues we humans did when it comes to governing each city. How do we handle transportation? The energy isn’t fully operational? Why does SHE get to be in charge?
From the art to the text and all of the creatures; Kingdom of Earth is beautiful to look at and interesting to read. This was an action-packed single issue, and I’m hoping the rest of the story is as fascinating as the first half.
In the ruins of Chicago, political tensions rise as the ambitious Orpheus challenges Romero, Grand Leader of the Northern Territory. Meanwhile, Frankie chooses to follow the terrifying beast Virago. The young human remains wary but curious as to why they were spared—are there such things as “Good Monsters” amidst the hordes of malevolent creatures vying to dominate the Kingdom of Earth?Four-issue series.

Gambit: Wanted – Issue #2
Gambit is back in New Orleans in a story that seemingly takes place a bit earlier than any current runs of X-Men. He’s working on training two street kids to help protect the others, but is also teaching all of the kids what to do in case of emergency.
Well, emergencies do tend to happen when superheroes are involved, and Remy’s past comes back to haunt him in multiple ways. If he had just killed Bullseye the first time, maybe this wouldn’t be happening? Or maybe it would… that’s for Gambit to uncover.
Strange Pictures – Vol. 1
This is a story I simply couldn’t put down. While I never read the novel, Strange Pictures snagged my attention early and left me wanting Vol. 2 NOW. The mysteries are to mysteries. Are they coincidence? Are they real? It’s for you to decide alongside our lead characters.
If you’re a fan of psychological thrillers and intense themes and mysteries; Strange Pictures is for you. It’ll leave you at the edge of your seat wanting to dig into the mystery deeper yourself.

Conan the Barbarian – Issue #34 review
Picking up where the last issue ended, Conan the Barbarian #34 continues what might be my favorite arc of Jim Zub’s Conan the Barbarian series thus far. The distinct environment remains a breath of fresh air for long-time readers of the series, and the supporting cast continue to be just as captivating as the titular Cimmerian.
With a healthy dose of fast-paced action and an unexpected twist at the end, Conan the Barbarian #34 is a great time from cover to cover.
What terrible secrets await the Cimmerian on the mysterious island?
