Kentucky has set the tone with an early statement in this rivalry game. A group of heroes is making sure that the first thing the Tennessee Volunteers see in the morning is blue.
The Rock on Tennessee’s campus is described as “a place of free expression on campus, a public canvas where thousands of artists have expressed themselves.” These members of Big Blue Nation are expressing themselves on Saturday, letting Volunteers know what time it is.
Shout out to these heroes who just got finished painting The Rock at The University of Tennessee. It now reads “Stein Time” on one side and “Big Blue Rock” on the other. pic.twitter.com/WgX39Po3lx

It’s a courageous act of Kentucky football fandom in the dark night. It’s just more proof that the Wildcats will not only be unaffected by Dark Mode, but thrive inside Knoxville during Saturday night’s contest against the Vols.
Unfortunately, this is not new to the University of Tennessee. Maintenance workers were out by 7:30 am, covering The Rock in white paint. They must be fired up to see the Wildcats’ icy white uniforms.
