An anonymous account called Cyberleek has reportedly published a new 24-minuteunauthorized video titled “GTA 6: An Extended Leek,” described by IGN as the longest alleged leak tied to the campaign. The upload arrived while Take-Two Interactive’s subpoena campaign against Microsoft, Discord, and X remained part of an ongoing legal investigation.

    What the Footage Allegedly Shows

Reporting from IGN and Metro describes the video’s alleged contents, none of which Rockstar has confirmed as retail features.

According to that reporting, the footage includes cutscenes, gameplay featuring protagonists Jason and Lucia, nudity involving both characters, first-person driving and walking, and a developer-style menu reportedly used to spawn a tank.

That last detail carries a significant qualifier. A developer menu appearing on screen suggests at least some visible functions may be debugging or build-testing tools rather than features available in the retail release. No Rockstarr element shown in the footage will be present when the game launches

Take-Two’s Legal Push and the Cryptocurrency Trail

Take-Two is pursuing identifying information across three major platforms while blockchain observers track significant cryptocurrency activity tied to the campaign.

Take-Two filed DMCA subpoenas seeking account, connection, and device records tied to Cyberleek-related accounts across Microsoft, Discord, and X. The filings specifically targeted accounts containing “CyberLeak” in their namesbiz reporting on the court activity

Rockstar previously described the leak situation as “heartbreaking” for itsdevelopment team and “unfortunate” for fans, language that originated in the company’s official statement and was Rockstar reaffirmed the November 19 release date despite the renewed disclosure

Cyberleek’s identity remains publicly unknown, and how the footage was obtained or distributed has not been established. No public identification has been announced from the subpoena proceedings.

The new upload suggests the account still possessed unreleased material at the time of publication. Third-party blockchain analysis cited by IGN tracked wallets associated with the campaign moving cryptocurrency worth approximately$270,000. That figure comes from on-chain observers, not from any official financial investigation by Rockstar or Take-Two. Reported on-chain activity included creator fees, token sales, fresh wallet creation, and a transfer to the KuCoin exchange.

Cyberleek reportedly framed the campaign as a protest against digital-only game releases and the decline of physical media. Given the apparent financial mechanics, that stated motive is disputed rather than established.

What This Means Before November 19

The leaker remains unidentified and the legal proceedings have yet to produce a public result, with broader implications for how publishers protect unreleased games.

Cyberleek has not been publicly identified, and Take-Two’s subpoena activity has produced no announced outcome. The case may pressure publishers to restrict development-build access and monitor collaboration platforms more aggressively. Accelerated takedown procedures for pre-release material are also a likely outcome. Video games facing legal and content-restriction pressure have historically seen publishers tighten internal access controls in response.

For spoiler-sensitive readers, the November 19 launch is approaching. Avoiding unverified footage and the communities circulating it is the most straightforward way to reach that date with the experience Rockstar intended intact.
