YouTuber Ethan Klein is in hot water after his wife, Hila Klein, accused him of having an affair.
On Thursday afternoon, Ethan posted an Instagram Story announcing that his H3 Podcast is on “indefinite hiatus.” Hours later, Hila accused him of being unfaithful to her and of lying to her for months. She also said she tried to share her concerns with him, but was met with denials.
“Eventually, he was caught in a lie, and I knew I was done,” she posted on her Instagram early Friday morning. “But the lies continued. ‘It was just a kiss’ became ‘it was emotional cheating.’ After I dragged these lies from him, he finally admitted he’d been in an affair for over 6 months, the extent of which I’m sure I still don’t know.”
She continued, “The betrayal I feel is immeasurable. The person I loved and trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight. He was my safe place, my partner in marriage, parenting, and business. My only family on this side of the world. How do I even begin to make sense of this?”
Entertainment Weeklyreached out to representatives for Ethan and Hila Klein for comment.
Ethan and Hila first met in 2007 and married in 2012. They launched their YouTube channel, h3h3Productions, in 2011, which spawned the popular H3 Podcast. The pair also shares three sons: Theodore, 7, Bruce, 4, and Sunny, 2. In her post revealing the alleged affair, Hila announced that she and Ethan were separated.
“I don’t know what comes next; I’ve never been here before,” Hila concluded. “I am in survival mode, trying to navigate separation, co-parenting, and unthinkable heartbreak. All I can do right now is focus on taking care of myself and my children, one day at a time.”
Shortly after Hila’s statement was posted, the H3 Podcast crew shared their support for her on the podcast’s official Instagram page. They also announced that they would be parting ways with Ethan, leaving the future of H3 uncertain.
“We are all shocked, angry, and heartbroken to learn about Ethan’s ongoing affair,” the crew shared on Friday. “As soon as we found out, we all agreed: we would not continue working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way. We don’t yet know what that means for the future. There’s a lot to work through, and we wish we had more answers for you.”

“Please know that we’re safe, we’re sticking together, and we’re looking after each other,” they concluded. “We’ve put so much of ourselves into this show, and it’s hard to find the words for what we’re feeling right now. Thank you for giving us some time to figure things out, and for all the love you’ve shown us. We love you, and we miss you already.”
Following the news of the alleged affair, a clip of Ethan denouncing unfaithful husbands on the H3 Podcast began circulating on X, garnering 1.7 million views.
“I just hate men who have kids, they f—ing put their wife through childbirth, they deliver you two beautiful children, and then you go and cheat on them, bro,” he said in the clip. “F— that. It’s so f—ed up.”
As of Friday afternoon, Ethan has not addressed the affair allegations.
