    Highlights

    • Jennie of BLACKPINK and Tame Impala hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult Pop Airplay chart with their collaborative remix of Dracula.
    • The achievement marks a unique breakthrough on U.S. terrestrial radio, an area where K-pop acts have historically battled to gain prominence.
    • The track also spent its 29th week at No. 1 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and an 11th week atop Hot Rock & Alternative Songs.

Jennie of BLACKPINK and Tame Impala have taken the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Adult Pop Airplay chart with Dracula, marking the second time for a K-pop track to lead the ranking. The first K-pop song to have topped the same chart is Goldenfrom KPop Demon Hunters, which attained the feat in January 2026.

Established in 1996, the Adult Pop Airplay chart monitors track plays across 40 U.S. radio stations serving adult demographics. Major radio charts have long been difficult for Korean artists to break into. Although core fanbases regularly boost K-pop releases to the upper echelons of sales and streaming charts, sustained radio airplay needs broader, passive adoption within the mainstream U.S. listeners.

    Social Platforms Drive Airplay Conversion

Draculawas originally released in September 2025 as a solo single by Tame Impala, the project led by Kevin Parker. The song then gained fresh commercial momentum after launching the viral Jennie remix in February 2026. It rapidly popularized itself on short-form video platforms and subsequently propelled both tracks back onto mainstream charts, converting social media engagement into terrestrial radio plays.

Alongside its radio surge, Dracula has showcased sustained strength across multiple Billboard tallies. The song currently holds at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 after it hit a peak of No. 5 on the chart. It also extends its multi-week dominance on genre-specific rankings. The song has reportedly held the top spot on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart for 29 weeks, while on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, Dracula charted an 11-week run.
