New Release: 32″ Alienware AW3226Q 4K OLED Monitor
32″ Alienware AW3226Q 4K RGB Stripe Tandem OLED Gaming Monitor
The Alienware AW3226Q has no lack of features that make it stand out from the crowd, but perhaps its most impressive technology is the RGB stripe tandem OLED panel. Tandem OLED stacks multiple OLED layers on top of each other instead of a single layer. Tandem OLED is better than other OLED panels because: 1) it’s much brighter (the AW3226Q in particular has impressive 1,000 nits of peak brightness) and 2) it’s less prone to burn-in.
The AW3226Q doubles down on this with new RGB stripe technology. Whereas traditional tandem OLEDs use white pixels, RGB stripe tandem OLED breaks the color down further into vertically aligned red, green, and blue pixels. This reduces color fringing and in turn significantly improves text clarity. It goes without saying that there are obvious benefits here for both gaming and productivity purposes alike.
With an impressive 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution, this 32″ monitor boasts a pixel density of 138ppi. OLED monitors are known for their extreme fast response time and perfect black levels, making them ideal for gaming. The AW3926QW ups the ante with its 165Hz refresh rate at 4K and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility. It has both DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 ports so you’ll be able to connect it to just about any modern day graphics card.
Alienware also backs the monitor up with a 3 year warranty that covers OLED burn-in.
