Slated for release in February 2027, the 208-page, 10-by-14-inch hardcover will showcase the legendary work of Len Wein, Chris Claremont, John Byrne, and Dave Cockrum—the iconic creative lineup that transformed the X-Men from a struggling title into Marvel’s flagship juggernaut.
The Art of The Uncanny X-Men presents original black-and-white line art, legendary covers, and complete issues reproduced directly from high-resolution archival scans.

The volume covers the defining moments of the 1970s and early 1980s mutant explosion, featuring:
- Giant-Size X-Men #1: The historic 1975 revival by Len Wein and Dave Cockrum that introduced Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Thunderbird.
- X-Men #101: The birth of the Phoenix persona.
- Uncanny X-Men #137: Chris Claremont and John Byrne’s emotional climax, “The Death of Phoenix.”
