Connor McDavid’s success with the Edmonton Oilers hasn’t just been on the ice; it’s allowed the NHL superstar to create a highly customized home in Edmonton. The mansion, which is purported to be valued at approximately $4 million, was constructed to suit his routines on and off the ice.The three-story property near Edmonton’s North Saskatchewan River valley was developed with interior designer Lauren Kyle. Connor McDavid’s $4 million mansion reveals luxury lifestyle
Having been unable to find an Edmonton property that fit their vision, McDavid and Kyle are said to have decided to create a home of their own. The result is a large three-storey house with well-thought-out living, entertainment and training areas.The main level has a chef’s kitchen with a huge marble island and a dining area with a secret bar behind sliding brass doors. The living area is also kept on the slimline theme, with TVs concealed behind custom metal panels.

Connor McDavid’s mansion showcases Edmonton luxury
The basement has an indoor half-basketball court that gives McDavid room to rollerblade, handle pucks and train during Edmonton’s harsh winter months. He uses a home gym to stay in shape for the physical demands of the NHL.There’s also a private movie theater, wine display and a moody speakeasy-style bar, all on the same level. These additions serve the basement not only with a functional training purpose but also with an entertainment-oriented atmosphere.Upstairs is more private, with a primary suite that features a hotel-style bed and pop-up TV. An open closet is said to be inspired by Yves Saint Laurent, and a two-person infrared sauna offers yet another wellness touch.

The open-plan layout was also designed for entertaining. Reports say the home is appropriate for hosting teammates and their families, and that McDavid, the captain of the Edmonton Oilers, has used the home in that capacity.The kitchen, dining and living areas of the property flow through to create a large social setting.
