Comic Con India will head to the capital city Delhi and will take place from December 5 to 6 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla.
Spanning across two days, the pop-culture festival will feature cosplay competitions, exclusive product launches, international guests, live music, anime merchandise, gaming tournaments, product showcases, stand-up comedy, and various other activities. The event will also feature authors of New York Times-bestselling and Eisner Award-winning comics, as well as Indian and international creators, artists and storytellers.
Those interested in attending the event can grab their tickets from the official website, with prices starting at ₹2,999. At the time of writing, only the Superfan Pass and Early Bird passes are available.
Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, said, “Delhi and Comic Con have grown up together in many ways. People who came to our early editions as students are now coming back with their children, while younger fans are discovering a whole new world of anime, gaming, manga and cosplay.”
She further added, “What we love about Delhi is how unapologetically fans here express themselves. You see it in the elaborate cosplays, the fan groups that plan their outfits months in advance, and the excitement that starts building well before the gates open.”
Meanwhile, Comic Con is also heading to other cities, including Comic Con Vizag, which is scheduled to take place from October 10 to 11, and Comic Con Navi Mumbai, scheduled for November 28 to 29.
