BLEACH anime comes to an end after 22 years
The TV anime BLEACH, based on the manga by Tite Kubo, has officially concluded after 22 years with the broadcast of the final episode of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War on October 27.
The series, which first premiered in 2004, came to an end with Episode 50, titled “DEATH & STRAWBERRY,” marking the conclusion of its fourth and final cour, “BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity.”
To commemorate the occasion, two special videos were released celebrating the journey of Ichigo Kurosaki and the other characters throughout the series.
One of the videos, a special ending sequence featured in the final episode, showcases animation keyframes alongside the cast and staff credits, set to the iconic track “Number One.”
The second video, “THE STORIES VISUAL MOVIE,” looks back on Ichigo’s battles through 15 illustrations depicting him at different stages of his journey. The final illustration features an adult Ichigo, 10 years after the conclusion of the war.
