The Town of Blackfalds is inviting residents to enjoy a summer of free family entertainment as its Summer Culture Series returns beginning tomorrow (July 9)
The weekly series kicks off with the popular Blackfalds Zoo and Zoo 2 U Ltd. from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Ag Society Amphitheatre, located beside the Abbey Centre
The event will feature more than 20 animals, including reptiles, parrots and other wildlife, offering an evening of entertainment and education for all ages and no registration is required

Variety of performances planned
The Summer Culture Series will continue each Thursday evening throughout July and August with a different family-friendly performance each week
Upcoming events include:
- July 16:Dreams of Wonderland by Blackfalds Circus, featuring aerial acts, contortion, hula hoops and acrobatics.
- July 23: Outdoor Movie Night inside Arena 1 at the Eagle Builders Centre, where residents will help choose the featured film by voting online between Ice Age, How to Train Your Dragon (live action) and The Wild Robot.
- July 30:The Joe Show, combining comedy, magic, ventriloquism and superhero-themed entertainment.
- August 13:The Wonder Dome, an interactive space-themed experience.
