Historically, Andy Cohen has attempted to ban props at reunions ever since Kenya Moore’s scepter and megaphone sparked a physical scuffle. But every once in a while, we see that rule being bent. And fortunately, Angie manages to sneak past security not with the sunglasses, but with a scroll that appears to contain evidence that Lisa Barlow is the person behind the anonymous troll account. Reality Von Teese: Here we go again. “The person trolling me has the same phone number as Lisa,” Angie said as Andy perused the hateful comments. However, an unfazed Lisa tells Angie that her evidence is baseless and that her number was never attached to the account, calling the scroll a “prop failure”.
But how did Angie allegedly solve this case? Well, when she tried to log into her troll account and clicked on “Forgot Password,” Instagram sent a password reset link to Lisa’s number, which Angie showed her. The problem is that when you do this, you are the one who enters the number to send the link to. If you look at her screenshot, you’ll see that Instagram is right behind the pop-up that says a link has been sent to Lisa’s phone number, prompting Angie to enter the number herself. And the truth is, if anonymous troll accounts were this easy to identify, we’d be living in a much different world. Nevertheless, both couches go endlessly screaming and going back and forth over this, and Andy’s only hope of breaking it is for him to get off stage himself and to mark the reunion first, with everyone apologizing for their bad behavior and begging Andy to come back.
While they took their lunch break, we took a peek into Meredith and Lisa’s war room. They didn’t even try to hide their alliance there. When Meredith tells Lisa that she’s been performing well so far, Lisa wants a specific compliment and asks, “What part do you like?” But their real focus is still on what lies ahead, preparing for the inevitable conversation about escaping hell. Lisa says they both know the truth and must be ready to support each other in the meantime. But what Meredith doesn’t know is whether the decorations on the various Greek food sets are real or fake. I could watch her pensive about it for hours.
Before going on a cast trip, the conversation turns to Mary, who tells her that Robert Jr. is currently in jail for breaking a restraining order from his ex-wife. But at least she seemed relieved to know that he was in a place where she couldn’t use him. As for the recent TLC documentary that claimed that Mary’s church is actually a cult, Mary brushed it off, saying that while that (and her family’s participation) hurt her, she just put it in the “heap of all the rest that hurt me.” Andy says that RHOSLC fans didn’t seem interested in the documentary. That’s probably because it’s all old news and we saw the same discussion already made on the show years ago. Catch up, TLC! Maybe in five years, a documentary will be released about what happened on that fateful plane.
This might actually be worth a look since it looks like we don’t have a real answer yet. Of course, this whole controversy started with Brittani bringing up a TikTok claiming that Seth was cheating on her, but Brittani also recently claimed on Watch What Happens Live that she has other proof. “Well, that’s not evidence that would stand up in court,” she quickly recanted, but claims that Seth told an acquaintance (who Lisa calls Jared) that he had two girlfriends at work. If we’re taking Jared’s word for it, we’re doomed, but nevertheless, Lisa starts bringing up all the other claims Jared has made. They include Todd going to Dubai to get ED medication, and unseen footage of them talking at Utah socialite Amy’s party.
I don’t care about Jared or what he’s doing, but I appreciate that Utah socialite Amy is back on screen, even if it’s in flashbacks. That begs the question. Why isn’t Amy, a socialite from Utah, coming to the reunion? She should be the first chair. No, she should be hosting it. Amy, a Utah socialite, wouldn’t have left. At the very least, she should be the one to bring the drinks to toast the ladies at the end. We’re already looking forward to next season when Utah socialite Amy will be the Snowflake center.
Until then, we finally get to the question that has been on everyone’s mind. Why didn’t anyone think to take out their phones and record what was happening on the plane? Whitney regrets not doing so, and Heather says it was awful when Lisa lost her ring in the bathroom, even though Andy pointed out that she had no problem doing so. Heather’s point doesn’t really resonate with me. Especially since she’s always the most respectful of the art form of being a housewife and someone who knows what good television is. A better explanation comes from Brittany, who reminds us that she was attacked all season long for recording on her cell phone. Ultimately, I think the most likely explanation is that this was a six-hour flight and Meredith’s anger was so drawn out that there weren’t any specific moments that felt intense enough to film.
Somewhere in this conversation, Meredith says that Heather has been screaming at her for two months, and upon hearing that, Heather completely explodes and tells her that their friendship is over. I had no idea where the screeching hurt so much. Heather then points out that even though they were discussing the plane, they didn’t bother mentioning the derogatory things she had actually said about Brittany, not to protect Brittany, but to protect Meredith. “We’re in no way protecting Brittany,” Mary murmurs in agreement.
When Andy asks a pointed question about whether Meredith drank before her flight, Meredith deftly shifts gears and wants to find out why she and Brittany had such a rift in the first place. She said the rift became “rooted in bigotry” after Brittani came out in support of a manicurist who had come under fire for anti-Semitic comments. Brittany’s version of the story is that he was Meredith’s nail technician and contacted her offering free services and asked her to leave a good review. She said she did so blindly, then when she learned of his hateful comments, she deleted the review and never heard from him again. Meredith has a hard time believing that Brittany didn’t know about the situation since it was on the news, but honestly, does Brittany look like someone who watches the news?
In any case, Brittani has already apologized to Meredith privately and apologized again on stage at the reunion, but Meredith still suggests that Brittani has a problem with her because she is Jewish. Naturally, this allegation causes Brittany to sob as she removes her makeup, denies it, and leaves the stage in tears. And we still don’t know if Meredith had a drink before that flight.
