It’s a big day for HYTE, and an even bigger day for those PC gamers who have always wanted to get one of their gaming cases, as the company has just launched a brand-new Y series case. The best thing about it? It’s basically everything fans love about the Y70, but at a much, much cheaper price.
Introducing the HYTE Y50, a new consumer-friendly budget case in their Y-Series line. But don’t take affordability as a sign of having “less,” because this case comes packed with loads of staple Y70 features, plus plenty of new stuff that makes it future-proof.
HYTE is Turning a New Page in Consumer PC Cases With the Y50
It’s been a bit of a wait, but the HYTE Y50 is finally here! That’s right: you can now buy the HYTE Y50 directly from HYTE and partnered retailers, and if you’ve been following it, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about it.
For starters, it’s $99.99, making it one of HYTE’s cheapest PC cases. That’s a pretty big deal, considering the manufacturer has positioned itself more toward enthusiasts with all its collaborative pieces and high-priced components. Well, that all looks to be changing, and it starts with the HYTE Y50.
So what makes this case so special? Well, aside from the pricing, the case also comes pre-installed with four fans (a first for HYTE), features three glass panoramic panels, much like the Y50, and has several design improvements such as grommets, cable channeling, and louvers, and Blade PCIe Ventilation slots on the backside.
But my favorite part is that the HYTE Y50 also fully supports Asus BTF, Gigabyte STEALTH, and MSI Project ZERO motherboards, which means you can have a PC case that nearly hides all cabling from the front, since those motherboards have back-connectivity.
