It’s Independence Day Weekend, which means it’s time to gather with friends and family, grab a hot dog and celebrate the country’s 250th birthday on Saturday

Fireworks
TimeOut Los Angeles did a great job rounding up some of the best fireworks shows in the LA area, including Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the Hollywood Bowl and — where else

Host Queen Latifah, Chaka Khan, Chris Stapleton, the Smashing Pumpkins, Maren Morris and Anthony Ramos will be ringing in America’s 250th birthday with a charity show
Tickets are — you guessed it — $17.76, and a block party before the show includes free food, drinks, games and giveaways
After the performances, stick around for fireworks and a drone show
Hollywood Bowl
When: Saturday, July 4, 7:30 p.m
Where: Hollywood Bowl, 2301 Highland Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90068
Celebrate the holiday with the legendary Beach Boys — and special guest John Stamos — as well as the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and conductor Thomas Wilkins

After the music, it’s all topped off by a huge fireworks show
And if you’re looking to get some food, the Bowl is featuring special All-American menu items like ribs; potato salad; red, white and blue cheesecake; and apple pie with cinnamon crumble
Dodger Stadium
