Viewers will see Morgan and his team mired in the danger and chaos of another case in High Potential Season 1 Episode 4! I thought the knife-wielding bartender in the last episode was in a dangerous situation.
The series certainly isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The training wheels are about to come off and it’s time for Morgan to sink or swim.
Since “High Potential” is a show with as much heart and brains as it does, there’s a good chance it’ll have its fair share of tear-jerking moments.
Viewers may experience every emotion under the sun by watching an episode of High Potential.
The kids will be fine because Morgan is on the case!
First, the case involves children. This immediately tells me that Morgan is about to make a massive investment.
Her character not only fully embraces the role of mother, but enjoys and celebrates every moment spent with her children.
As shown in the promo for High Potential Season 1 Episode 4, Morgan has a heart-to-heart with her mother in the bathroom.
As soon as the woman finishes explaining her missing daughter, Morgan (Caitlin Olson) jumps into the case. You have to love her big heart.
What follows is a montage of scenes describing how intense the next episode could be. So far, Morgan has managed to keep her cool at work, but what happens if her emotions get the better of her?
As we saw in High Potential Season 1, Episode 3, things can quickly spiral out of control with just one mistake.
It would be completely understandable if Morgan took the next case so seriously but no longer gave up on the spot. The series delivers on its value.
High potential hires a TV vet looking to make up for her last movie
As for the mother seen with Morgan in the bathroom scene, the actress is a bit of a vet. Madeline Zima has worked in the entertainment industry for over thirty years.
Trigger warning: I will make a lot of people feel old. Zima played one of Hilary Duff’s stepsisters in 2004’s “A Cinderella Story” alongside Jennifer Coolidge and Chad Michael Murray.
I know what you are thinking. How come that movie was made in 2004, only ten years ago? Listen, this movie is as magical as ever. It’s the rest of us who get older.
However, Madeleine’s career is a vibrant tapestry of diverse projects. The actress has appeared in TV series such as Grimm, The Vampire Diaries, Good Girls and Crackers.
Most recently, she starred alongside Megan Fox in the dumpster-fire movie Submission, about a crazy, sexy killer robot. Emphasis on madness.
I loved Miss Fox, but that movie was trash. The only thing worth looking at is Michele Morrone in all his handsome, chiseled glory.
However, if you were one of the unfortunate few who watched the film, you might have noticed that Madeleine Zima was involved in her role.
The Miss Actress movie was a hit. Sadly, that’s not enough to make the film bearable.
While this is not good news for XYZ Films, it is good news for ABC and High Potential. The actress can show off her talents in the next episode and help viewers forget – wait, what was that movie called again?
Morgan and Karadek may have unexpected dynamic
I’m looking forward to seeing Morgan and Karadek in action together more than ever. Is it me, or are they brother and sister?
In my previous review, I speculated that Karadek and Morgan might develop romantic feelings for each other. Many of you don’t like this!
Fortunately, I see a better path and relationship between these two agents of justice. They act much like siblings. Anyone who has a sibling may notice that their bickering feels familiar.
Don’t worry, though, because Selena’s mom (Judy Reyes) is here to keep the two kids from tearing each other apart.
As someone who suffered multiple physical injuries from my sister, I can tell you that things can get very intense very quickly. Still, there is a level of love that makes you protect that person at all costs.
Hopefully this is the direction Karadek (Daniel Sunjata) and Morgan are headed, because no one wants to see these two kiss.
High potential strikes a wonderful balance with Morgan’s layered life
Even though we know the next episode will focus on the kidnapper and the girl he took, there’s still a lot that could happen in the next episode.
First, Morgan’s family has been the focus of every episode so far. There’s a wonderful balance of high potential and Morgan’s layered life.
As an extension of this, we should continue to see the captain working hard and fulfilling her end of the bargain with Morgan. It’s too early to speculate on what happened to Roman.
We know he disappeared fifteen years ago after going out to buy diapers. Whether he is dead or alive, no one can tell.
Roman’s storyline could become a major plot point. The same thing is done on Elsbeth, investigating the titular character of Captain Wagner. It went from a side story to the central question of the season.
Either way, no matter what direction High Potential takes, the series will undoubtedly continue to deliver moments of laughter, tears, and knowledge.
Oh, and a stunning coat and killer boots, if only Miss Morgan didn’t let her new gig get in the way of looking great every episode!
