Play pool, video games and more at new store in outlet mall at Tanger Outlets

La. (Louisiana First) — If you enjoy playing pool, video games, or foosball, a new place is opening soon in Ascension Parish

The Billiard Brothers, located at 2200 S. Tanger Blvd., Suite 114 in the Tanger Outlets, in the former Charlotte Russe space, will have a soft opening Friday, Nov. 13, according to owner Will White.

Patrons can play pool, foosball or use the PlayStation gaming area for $5 per person per hour. People will have access to 15 pool tables total. White said the gaming area has couches, three TVs with a PlayStation, and four professional Tornado T-3000 foosball tables.

“Our goal is to create a welcoming place for people to play, shop, celebrate, and spend time together,” said White.

White said the new store will have a retail section where customers can buy everything from pool tables to accessories.

A VIP area will have a loveseat, couch, poker table, two pool tables, shuffleboard table with a buffet surface for guests’ food, and a 100-inch TV. The area will be available for private events, birthdays, and other gatherings.

Individuals can bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Alcohol is not allowed in the facility.

White said the store will host a junior Billiard Congress of America (BCA) league for children and teens ages 9 to 17 and an in-house United States Professional Poolplayers Association (UPA) league. There are plans to start a BCA adult league soon.

There will be Faith and Family Day on Wednesdays and a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights.

Business hours will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 10 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
