BLEACH Episode 50, “DEATH & STRAWBERRY,” takes place 10 years after the battle with Yhwach. The synopsis and preview images for the final episode of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War show the Seireitei rebuilding in the aftermath of the war.
Finale Moves the Story 10 Years Forward
The previous episode, “THE BLADE,” followed Ichigo Kurosaki and his allies as they faced Yhwach in the final battle. Episode 50 moves the story forward by a decade, showing the aftermath of the conflict and the restoration of the Seireitei.
Ten years after the battle, the Seireitei has largely recovered from the destruction of the war and returned to peace. The last reconstruction project is nearing completion, while the Gotei 13 prepares to appoint a new captain.
However, as the inauguration ceremony approaches, the Department of Research and Development detects an ominous spiritual pressure.

The newly released preview images offer a look at the characters and the rebuilt world 10 years after the war.
