Breakout artist of the year, Yung Milla, has today been announced as half time entertainment for the Sydney Kings battle against the NZ Breakers on Sunday 15 November at Afterpay Arena.
Yung Milla is a loud and proud member of the Marranunggu people, who are the traditional land owners of the Litchfield National Park in the NT with the young rapper recognised for his talent and storytelling through accolades including 2026 NT Music Awards nominee Best Hip Hop category for “RAIN”, 2026 NIMAs nominee Best Community Film Clip for Barunga, and topping it off as the 2026 Winner of the Voice Australia.

“We’re incredibly proud that Yung Milla is joining the Sydney Kings for our Indigenous Round against New Zealand. He’s exploding into a new stratosphere and we know our fans will love Yung Milla and respond to his music, storytelling and passion.”
“Coming to a basketball game is about more than the game on the court, it’s about the entertainment, music, activations, and Yung Milla will be a great addition to bring the energy and ignite our fans during such a special Indigenous Round.”
Yung Milla’s performance is part of the NBL’s Indigenous Round, where the league celebrates and collaborate with Indigenous artists, custodians and leaders to tell the stories of identity, heritage and Country.
“I’m so excited to be performing at half time for the NBL’s Indigenous Round.”
“It’s important that we recognise the achievements of our people in all arenas, so I can’t wait for us to come together and celebrate mob through music and sport. I’ll be bringing my A-game and keep the energy pumping!”
